“Béni soit le Christ qui t’a fait triompher, notre Père glorieux, qui t’a mis à part, t’a sanctifié, t’a choisi dans son amour et a demeuré en toi; il a conduit à terme et rendu parfait le jour de ton combat, car tu as écouté ton Seigneur qui t’a parlé: «Laisse ta maision, méprise ta richesse». Tu as accompli sa parole en ta personne par l’énergie de ta conduite; et voilà que les anges et les hommes se réjouissent en toi, et ils te déclarent désirablement bienheureux.”

“ܚܝܠܐ ܕܚܝܠܟ. ܐܘ ܛܘܒܢܐ. ܘܙܟܝܬ ܠܒܝܫܐ ܒܐܓܘܢܐ. ܘܣܠܩܬ ܡܢܗ ܒܢܨܚܢܐ. ܗܘ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܢ ܡܛܪܢܐ. ܡܢ ܟܠ ܓܕܫܐ ܡܥܝܩܢܐ. ܘܠܗܢ ܫܗܪܢ ܕܝܘܡܢܐ. ܢܬܩܒܠ ܐܝܟ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ. ܩܕܡܝܟ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܡܝܢܐ. ܘܢܩܥܐ ܟܠܢ ܒܚܕ ܠܫܢܐ. ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܫܡܟ ܒܪ ܚܢܢܐ.”

“La force qui t’a rendu fort, ô bienheureux, par laquelle tu as vaincu le Mauvais au combat et l’a surpassé en exploit, qu’elle nous protège de tout accident nuisible, et que notre repas funéraire d’aujourd’hui soit accepté comme une offrande devant toi, Roi céleste. Crions tous en une seule langue: «Gloire à ton nom, fils de miséricorde!»”
