“ܥܠ ܫܡܝܐ ܬܪܝܢܝܬܐ. ܨܒܝܬ ܗܘܝܬ ܕܐܪܫܘܡ ܒܟܬܝ̈ܒܬܐ. ܘܩܡܘ ܚܘ̈ܒܝ ܐܝܟ ܐܪ̈ܓܕܝܐ. ܘܐܬܘ ܚܛܗ̈ܝ ܐܝܟ ܓܪ̈ܒܕܝܐ. ܘܚܘ̈ܫܒܝ ܐܝܟ ܬܪ̈ܒܕܝܐ. ܘܟܢܫܘ ܙܘ̈ܥܝ ܐܝܟ ܬܒ̈ܬܝܐ. ܩܝ̈ܣܐ ܘܫܒܫ̈ܬܐ ܒܝ̈ܫܐ. ܠܡܘܩܕܘܬܢܝ ܒܐܬܘܢܐ ܕܚܫ̈ܐ. ܛܠܐ ܗܘ ܕܒܝܨ ܚܢܢܝܐ. ܦܝܓ ܒܗ ܠܡܕܥ ܨܗܝܐ.” 1
“J’avais voulu écrire à propos du deuxième ciel, mais mes fautes se sont dressées comme les Argadâyê, mes péchés sont venus comme les Grabdâyê et mes raisonnements comme les Tarbadâyê, et mes pensées se sont rassemblées comme les Tibtâyê, bois et sarments mauvais pour être brûlés dans la fournaise des passions” 1

“Et pour l’écrivain et pour le lecteur et pour les auditeurs rassemblés, hommes, femmes et enfants, tous honorent ta mémoire pour être jugés dignes de miséricorde par ta prière et faire monter la louange à celui qui es né de toi pour les siècles des siècles. Amen et amen.” 1
