"ܟܕ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܦܪܝܣܩܘܣ ܐܢܬܘܦܛܘܣ ܒܐܘܪܘܦܐ. ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܟܢܫܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܕܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܒܟܠܩܝܕܘܢܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ. ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܕܝܢ ܠܦܪܝܣܩܘܣ ܐܢܬܘܦܛܘܣ ܪܚܡܐ ܪܫܝܥܐ ܕܫܡܗ ܗܘܐ ܐܦܠܝܢܘܣ̣. ܘܣܘܦܝܣܛܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܝܘ̈ܢܝܐ."1 "Alors que Priscus était proconsul en Europe, il y avait une assemblée nombreuse de chrétiens dans la ville de Chalcédoine.
