ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܢܣܛܘܪ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ: ܐܒܗ̈ܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܓܪܡܢܩܝܐ. ܕܗܝ ܡܪܥܫ ܡܥܫܢܬܐ: ܫܡܐ ܕܐܒܘܗܝ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܐܒܝܠܫܘܡ: ܘܫܡܐ ܕܐܡܗ ܡܠܟܬܘܡ. 1

Et il arriva dans une île de la terre d’Égypte et là il fut infesté de vers et mourut comme un chien, étant dans une misère dure et amère, et ne pouvant pas parler ni dire “Notre Seigneur aie pitié de nous”. Et certains disent que la pluie ne descendait pas du tout sur son tombeau. Et le saint synode fut dissous… et que leur prière soit avec nous. Amen. Et que soit maudit et excommunié… et que sa miséricorde soit sur nous tous pour les siècles des siècles. Amen. 1
