“ܓܒܐ ܠܗ ܒܘܟܪܐ ܫܠܝ̈ܚܐ. ܘܓܒܐ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܠܬܐܘܡܐ ܫܠܝܚܐ. ܘܫܕܪܗ ܕܢܐܙܠ ܕܢܥܡܕ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܦ̈ܛܥܐ ܐܦ ܚܫ̈ܘܟܐ. ܠܠܝܐ ܦܪܝܣ ܗܘܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܗܢܕܘ. ܘܟܡܝܪܘܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ. ܘܒܕܡܘܬ ܙܠܝܩܐ ܕܫܡܫܐ ܢܦܩ ܘܕܢܚ. ܬܐܘܡܐ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܘܐܢܗܪܗܿ”

“Le Premier-né a choisi les apôtres et parmi eux il a choisi l’apôtre Thomas et il l’a envoyé pour aller baptiser les peuples insensés et les ténèbres. La nuit était étendue sur la terre d’Inde et il y avait là le paganisme. Comme un rayon de soleil, l’apôtre Thomas est sorti, est paru et l’a illuminée.”
