"ܛܘܒܝܟ ܬܐܘܡܐ ܪܚܝܡ ܬܠܡܝܕ̈ܐ. ܓܙܐ ܕܫܘܦܪ̈ܐ ܘܡܠܐ ܛܘܒܐ. ܕܓܫܬ ܐܝܕܟ ܢܒܥܐ ܚܠܝܐ. ܕܐܪ̈ܕܝܢ ܚܝ̈ܐ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܟܠܗ. ܐܚܨܦ ܚܘܒܟ ܘܠܒܟܬܗܿ ܠܣܝܡܬܐ ܡܠܝܬ ܫܘܦܪܐ. ܕܒܗܿ ܐܬܦܪܢܣܘ ܥ̈ܠܡܐ. ܪܒ ܗܘ ܛܘܒܟ. ܕܠܫܡܫܐ ܕܥܠܝ̈ܐ. ܠܒܟܬܝܗܝ ܒܨ̈ܒܥܬܟ."1 "Bienheureux es-tu, Thomas, aimé des disciples, trésor de vertus et plein de biens, car ta main a touché la source douce qui répand la vie dans le monde entier.
