ܛܘܒܝܟ ܦܘܠܘܣ ܒܪ ܥܒܪ̈ܝܐ. ܡܐܢܐ ܓܒܝܐ ܡܠܐ ܢܨ̈ܚܢܐ. ܕܠܒܟܟ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܒܪ ܐܠܗܐ. ܘܚܠܦ ܕܐܒܐ ܐܡܪܐ ܥܒܕܟ. ܘܒܩܠܗ ܒܣܝܡܐ ܐܦܢܝܟ. ܘܠܓܢܘܢܗ ܢܗܝܪܐ ܐܥܠܟ. ܘܪ̈ܐܙܘܗܝ ܐܠܦܟ. ܘܗܘܝܬ ܪܒܝܬܐ. ܠܥܘܬܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܫܡܝ̈ܢܐ. 1
Bienheureux es-tu, Paul, fils des Hébreux, instrument choisi riche en triomphes, toi que l’amour du Fils de Dieu a saisi; il t’a transformé de loup en agneau de sa voix agréable il t’a converti, t’a fait entrer dans son banquet lumineux et t’a enseigné ses mystères. Et tu es devenu l’économe de ses richesses célestes. 1

Bienheureux es tu, toi qui as brillé comme le jour par la doctrine de la crucifixion. Voici que toute la création est illuminée de tes sermons divins; tous les peuples et les Églises qui se tiennent dans la lumière du crucifié sont chaque jour réjouis par la beauté de ta doctrine. Gloire à celui qui t’a choisi. 1
