Luoyang - ܣܪܓ

Eastern capital under multiple dynasties including the Tang, major urban center near Chang’an in the North China Plain. It operated at times as a secondary imperial capital, reflecting shifting political and administrative priorities within the empire. A newly excavated funerary stele dated to 815 from Luoyang provides late Tang evidence of Christian communities continuing to exist beyond the primary capital.4
