The first part of the article lists manuscripts of the full (with services on every day) Menaion (64 manuscripts in total) in classical Syriac, stored in Saint Catherine’s Monastery at Sinai, libraries of European cities (Paris, Berlin, Vatican) and other collections. Their availability on the Internet (53 manuscripts in total) is noted, in particular, thanks to the HMML project dedicated to the digitization of manuscripts in the depositories of the East. The second part of the article contains data on the use of terms in the Syriac Menaion refering to hymnographic chants of various type: troparion, kathisma, kontakion, oikos, stichera, exaposteilarion, canon, ode, heirmos. There are groups of terms: firstly, borrowed from Greek without translation, secondly, adapted to a certain degree to the rules of the Syriac language, and thirdly, translated into Syriac.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
