The translation is preceded by a discussion of the possible place where the sermon was delivered and its dating and authorship, special attention being paid at the S. heid’s hypothesis that attributes the sermon to St. Ephrem the Syrian. key textual variants are supplied and analyzed in the footnotes.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
