The article examines the reception of Cyrillian dialogues as a form of anti-Nestorian invective in Greek, Syriac and Arabic literary communities, and discusses the possibly concomitant composition of soghyatha such as that ‘of Cyril and Nestorius’ in Syriac intellectual cultures.
