This article explores two moments in the formation of the corpus of logical works in Syriac and Arabic. First the “school of Qenneshre” is presented, with the leading figure of Severus Sebokht (7th cent.). Then attention is called on the “Syro-Arabic corpus” of logical works put together by Ḥunayn ibn Isḥāq and his son Isḥāq ibn Ḥunayn (10th cent.), a corpus attested in MS Istanbul, Topkapı, Ahmet III 3362.
