The three-line text, which is paleographically dated between the 6th and 7th century AD begins with the classic Syriac liturgical prayer, followed by an invocation rather resembling those found in the graffiti throughout the Arabian Peninsula. Its author could be a Christian traveller or a local belonging to the Christian community of Najrān. In either case, the inscription is historically relevant, as it testifies that the Christian culture in the Najrān area was, at least partially, in Syriac.
The article also includes the study of the Ancient South Arabian and Thamudic graffiti engraved on the rock panel around the Syriac inscription.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
