In this context Armenians and Nestorians which lived in different areas, disliking each other, they did not intermarry and even did not go to each other’s churches. Nestorians, realising that the Armenians had drawn the attention of European countries and Russia through the rioting, acted in the same way, which loosened their relations. American and English missionaries also contributed to this rupture. Later Armenians and Nestorians fought against Ottoman Empire in First World War and suffered the consequences. This study deals with the changing attitudes of Armenians and Nestorians toward each other.
