The remains illustrate the existence of a community that managed to take advantage of its environment and of the proximity of major communication routes linking the large urban centres of Apamea and Antioch. This article aims to present the evolution of the village from its earliest phase of occupation, between the 2nd and the 3rd centuries, until its final abandonment in the medieval period.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
