The existence of such references in Armenian and Georgian languages shows the diffusion of some apocrypha outside of the Syriac, Greek and Latin worlds. It also testifies to the interest that the two Caucasian Churches very early showed in those texts. The use of non-canonical texts in the hymns sung during liturgical celebrations also points to the freedom of the Churches and their wish to extend the Gospel accounts, especially in Jerusalem, where many of those texts originate. The present article provides a first list of those references, but has no pretension to be comprehensive.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
