The edition is based on Paris, Bibl. Nat. Syr. 209, which is dated to year 1956 of the Greeks (= 1644/5 CE). An apparatus also supplies the textual variants found in ms. Atšaneh 85, which was copied in 1909 CE. This memrā is a further witness to late Classical Syriac literature, only a relatively small sample of which has thus far been published.
