This work, whose manuscripts in the world libraries were collected, re-verified and translated into Turkish by us, bears a distinctive importance in that it was written in verse and according to the meter coined by Assyrian Saint Ephraemeo apart from the fact that it was written in accordance with pedagogical language teaching techniques of the period in which it was written. There is no study on this work, except for Grammatica Linguae Syriacae in Metro Ephraemeo, Ernestus Bertheau's prose translation in Latin, in 1843. In this sense, we have brought the work in question in Turkish by making the critical edition of it in accordance with Ephraemeo’s meter while maintaining its lyricism. It is extremely valuable in Syriac as it is the first work in the field. Shortly; (a) The position of Barhebraeus as a Syriac linguist will be evaluated in the context of this work and other linguistic studies. (b) Kᵊtobo da’Grammatiqi’s method and its value in teaching Syriac will be revealed. (c) The copies of Kᵊtobo da’Grammatiqi, its poetic translation from Syriac into Turkish, and its linguistic concepts will be emphasized.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
