William Wright published a text and translation of the History of John in the late nineteenth century using two manuscripts. Since then, several other manuscripts of this text have been identified. Here, I present a summary of all known manuscripts of the History of John toward the goal of compiling a new text and translation in the near future.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
