The main question was how to judge about the legends surrounding this history in the light of the secondary literature and also of documents newly found during the ongoing digitisation of the Kerala Christian libraries. Also it announces some old-new discoveries, such as a Roman Catholic apologetic Church history written in the time of Bishop Alexander de Campo (1663-1687), found in Mannanam, Kerala and earlier unknown and another one, of Syrian Orthodox perspective, contained in an Oxford manuscript and published by François Nau. The paper also announces the discovery of eighteen Christian apocrypha written in Malayalam and contained in a palm-leaf manuscript. The author did not know in 2006 but knows at present that these apocrypha were translated from the Latin and are preserved in two versions, one in Garshuni Malayalam (see also the author's recent study on Malayalam Garshuni) and another one in Modern Grandha, presented in the present article.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
