His writings have provided a wealth of information about various topics such as philosophy, theology, and history. And yet, despite the enormous extant corpus of his works and their importance for understanding the intellectual world of thirteenth century Christianity in the Middle East, little is known about the life of Bar Hebraeus. The present volume seeks to correct this by presenting a bibliographic narrative in poetic meter about Gregory Bar Hebraeus. The poem was written by Dioskoros Gozarto, and the text is presented in vocalized Serto script. The text is edited and introduced by Julius Yeshu Çiçek. The volume also includes a brief bibliographic piece on Gregory written by Ignatius Aphram I Barsoum.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
