Despite a high degree of general Christological compatibility regarding the full divinity of the Word and the full humanity of Christ, Nestorius was misaligned with Athanasius in describing how the unity of Christ's natures should be discussed. Nestorius misrepresented Athanasius' Christology in specific defenses presented in "The Apology" of the Le Livre D 'Héraclide de Damas (LH) . Nestorius' appeal to Athanasius focused on a repeated citation of Athanasius' Epistle to Epicetus and the claim that Athanasius used the terms "Son, Christ, and Lord" to refer to the Prosoponic unity of Christ's natures.</note></biblStruct><bibl type="formatted" subtype="bibliography" resp="https://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bibliography-17th-edition">
