“ܕܥܘ ܐܘ ܚܒܝ̈ܒܝ ܕܐܫܬܥܝܘ ܠܢ ܐܒܗ̈ܬܐ ܘܡܠܦ̈ܢܐ ܕܥܕܬܐ ܩܕܝܫܬܐ ܥܠ ܐܬܘ̈ܬܐ ܘܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܐ ܕܣܥܪܬ ܡܪܬܝ ܡܪܝܡ ܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܕܟܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܕܣܠ̣ܩ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ.” 1
“Sachez, mes bien-aimés, que les Pères et docteurs de la sainte Église nous ont raconté les signes et miracles que fit la sainte et pure Vierge Marie après que notre Seigneur Jésus Christ fut monté aux cieux.” 1

“Maintenant, frères bien-aimés, sachez que nous implorons et prions le Christ qui est né d’elle et qui s’est manifesté à partir du sein de la pure, sainte et bénie Vierge, dans sa pitié et dans sa clémence de bénir quiconque célèbre la fête de sainte Marie et honorera et exaltera ses fêtes et ses commémoraisons dans les louanges et les chants de l’Esprit Saint. Prions le Christ d’établir sa prospérité et sa paix dans tout lieu où on honorera les fêtes de la sainte Vierge Marie et de multiplier ses bienfaits à tous ses habitants pour qu’ils soient aidés et sauvés du feu de la Géhenne. Oui et amen.” 1
