“ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܥܡ ܐ̈ܚܐ ܛܘܒ̈ܢܐ ܗܘ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܝܘܚܢܢ̣. ܟܕ ܚܿܕܐ ܘܪܘܿܙ ܒܡܪܝܐ. ܠܒܬܪܗ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܘܡܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܚܕܒܫܒܐ̣. ܟܕ ܟܢܝܫܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܚ̈ܐ̣ ܫܪܝ ܠܡܐܡܪ. ܐܚ̈ܝ ܘܟܢ̈ܘܬܝ: ܘܒ̈ܢܝ ܝܪܬܘܬܐ ܘܫܘܬܦܘܬܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ̣. ܝܕܿܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܟܡܐ ܝܗܒ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܐܝ̈ܕܝ.” 1

“Le bienheureux saint Jean était donc avec les frères, joyeux et réjoui dans le Seigneur. Le lendemain, dimanche, alors que les frères étaient réunis, il se mit à dire: “Mes frères et mes compagnons, héritiers et participants du royaume du Christ, vous savez combien Dieu vous a donné par mes mains.”” 1

“Il descendit dans la fosse où il avait étendu ses vêtements; et quand il nous eu dit “Paix et prospérité à vous, mes frères”, il rendit son esprit joyeux. Que sa prière soit avec nous. Amen.” 1
