“ܠܡܫܬܩ ܨܿܒܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܫܦܝܪ ܕܥܘ: ܟܕ ܚܕܐ ܙܒܢ ܩܠܣܬܗ ܠܙܪܝܙܐ ܠܐܘܢܛܝܘܣ. ܚܿܙܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܕܡܐ ܕܝܠܗ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ: ܒܕܡܘܬ ܕܡܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܗܒܝܠ: ܕܗܿܘ ܕܫܡܥ ܐܠܗܐ ܩܠܗ̣. ܘܠܠܫܢܐ ܐܚܘܕ ܠܐ ܡܨܐ ܐܢܐ.” 1
“Je voudrais me taire, sachez-le bien, puisqu’une fois déjà j’ai fais loué le vaillant Léonce. Mais je vois son sang parler en moi à l’instar du sang d’Abel dont Dieu entendit la voix, et je ne peux retenir ma langue.” 1

“Afin qu’à leur place le Christ notre paix fasse souffler un vent pacifique et doux, favorable et propice, puisqu’il pardonne nos péchés, et qu’il nous accorde stabilité et bien-être dans ce séjour, et qu’il nous juge dignes de la vie à venir.
