ܟܕ ܫܿܡܥ ܐܢܐ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܢܒܝܐܝܐ ܠܥܕܬܐ ܩܕܡ ܡܛܦܣ ܘܪܫܡ: ܘܠܘܬ ܪܝܫܐ ܕܝܠܗܿ ܗܿܘ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܿܬܚ ܠܗܿ ܠܡܠܬܐ ܘܐܡܿܪ: ܩܡܬ ܡܠܟܬܐ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܟ: ܟܕ ܒܠܒܘܫܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܡܥܛܦܐ ܘܡܦܬܟܐ̣. ܡܚܕܐ ܒܪܫܥܬܗ ܠܘܬ ܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܝܬܐ ܬܩܠܐ ܡܬܬܘܒܠ ܐܢܐ ܒܗܘܢܝ. 1
Quand j’entends David figurer et dessiner d’avance l’Église et adresser la parole même au chef de celle-ci qui est le Christ: “La reine s’est tenue à ta droite, vêtue d’un habit d’or et d’aspect varié”, aussitôt et sur l’heure je suis porté en mon esprit vers la forte martyre Thècle. 1

Mais vous, qui êtes sous le joug du mariage, vous pouvez aussi cueillir de la même image une vie honnête et chaste, pour que, alors que le nom du Christ est glorifié par vous toutes, il vous prépare la gloire et la grâce d’en haut. Car celui qui dit: “Ceux qui me glorifient, je les glorifierai” ne ment pas. À lui convient… Amen. 1
