“ܕܐܫܬܘܩ ܡܢ ܨܿܒܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܕܚܕܐ ܙܒܢ ܩܠܣܬ ܠܚܠܝܨܐ ܠܐܘܢܛܝܣ. ܚܿܙܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܕܡܗ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܗ ܕܗܒܝܠ ܗܿܘ ܕܫܡܥ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܩܠܗ̣. ܘܕܐܚܘܕ ܠܫܢܝ ܠܐ ܡܨܐ ܐܢܐ.” 1
“Je voudrais me taire, sachez-le, puisqu’une fois déjà j’ai fait l’éloge du vaillant Léonce. Mais je vois son sang parler en moi comme le sang d’Abel dont Dieu entendit la voix, et je ne peux retenir ma langue.” 1

“Afin qu’à leur place le Christ notre paix fasse souffler la paix et la tranquillité, un vent serein, puisqu’il pardonne nos péchés, et qu’il nous accorde toute la paix de la vie, et puisse-t-il nous juger dignes de la vie à venir.
