“ܡܛܠ ܕܝܢ ܕܥܡܐ ܦܩܪܐ ܕܝܗ̈ܘܕܝܐ ܡܥܕ ܗܘ ܡܨܥܪ ܠܐܠܗܗ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ. ܐܫܟܚܘ ܗܘܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܠܬܐ ܒܝܘܡ̈ܬܗ ܕܛܪܝܢܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܥܘܠܐ ܗܘ ܕܠܦܩܪܘܬܗܘܢ ܕܝܗ̈ܘܕܝܐ ܫܠܡ ܗܘܐ.” 1

“Parce que le peuple furieux des juifs avait l’habitude d’outrager son Dieu tout le temps, ils se trouvèrent un prétexte aux jours de l’empereur impie Trajan, lui qui approuvait leur démence.” 1

“Jusqu’ici comment le peuple maudit et furieux des juifs ravirent la Croix de notre Seigneur des mains de l’évêque Syméon et l’enfouirent dans une fosse qu’ils firent dans la terre de vingt brasses (qawmê).” 1
