“ܥܠ ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܓܙܒܪܐ ܕܪܘܚܩܘܕܫܐ. ܢܘܣܐ ܕܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܡܥܡܪܐ ܘܐܘܢܐ ܕܬܠܝܬܝܘܬܐ ܩܕܝܫܬܐ. ܐܘܕܥܬ ܡܠܬܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ̣. ܕܒܥܘܡܪܗ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ ܐܬܬܠܡܕ ܠܐܣܟܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ” 1
“Sur ce trésorier de l’Esprit Saint, ce temple de la grâce et cette demeure de la sainte Trinité, j’ai déjà fait savoir plus haut qu’il fut formé à ce saint habit dans le couvent de saint Rabban Hôrmîzd.” 1
