“Toi le pur qui aime les purs, donne-moi dans ta miséricorde une intelligence pure et une lèvre pure par ta Parole vivante et vivifiante, pour que je dise l’histoire de ta sainte Mère Marie la sublime. Je n’en suis pas digne, mais toi fais parler en moi la miséricorde, que j’exalte l’histoire de ta Mère, pou réjouir ton Église et ton peuple.” 1

“ܒܪܝܟ ܕܘܟܪܢܗܿ. ܫܒܝܚ ܡܘܪܒܢܗܿ. ܘܥܠܝܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܐ ܒܨܠܘܬܗܿ. ܘܠܒܪܗܿ ܬܫܒ̈ܚܢ ܘܠܗܿ ܟܠ ܛܘ̈ܒܐ. ܘܐܦ ܥܘܕܪܢܐ ܠܢ ܚܝ̈ܒܐ.” 1
