“ܐܫܬܥܝܘ ܕܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܘ ܡܢ ܢܝܓܪܢ. ܕܩܕܡܐܝܬ ܠܡ ܟܕ ܐܡܠܟ ܗܘܐ ܗܢܐ ܪܫܝܥܐ ܝܘܕܝܐ. ܫܕܪ ܠܚܨܪܡܘܬ ܘܠܫܒܐ ܘܠܚܙܒܐ. ܘܠܕܝܪܝܕܢ. ܘܠܬܝܡܢܬ ܘܠܢܝܓܪܢ. ܘܠܫܪܟܐ ܕܐܬܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܫܘܠܛܢܗ: ܕܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܘܬܗ ܠܕܝܐܪܝܪܢ.” 1
“Ceux qui vinrent de Najran racontèrent que dès que ce juif impie devint roi, il envoya à Hadramaout, à Shabâ, à Hazabâ, à Du-Raydan, à Taymant, à Najran et dans les autres pays de son empire pour qu’on vienne chez lui à Du-Raydan.” 1

“Nous vous avons écrit cette lettre, Père, depuis le camp de Jabâlâ, roi des Ghassanides, à l’endroit appelé al-Jabiya, au mois de juillet de cette année 830 d’Alexandre. Noms des archiprêtres qui furent brûlés dans l’église de Najran… et de notre bouche à tous que l’action de grâces lui soit afferte à lui, à son Père et à son Esprit Saint… Amen.” 1
