“ܢܘܗܪܐ ܢܦܩ ܗܘܐ ܕܠܚܫܘܟܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܢܩܛܘܠ: ܘܡܢ ܟܠ ܦܢܝ̈ܢ ܨܐܕ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܚܟܝܡܐܝܬ.” 1

“La lumière est sortie pour tuer les ténèbres du monde et elle les a chassés avec sagesse dans tous les coins du monde.” 1

“ܚܬܘܡ ܒܨܠܝܒܟ ܠܗܿ ܘܠܝܠܕ̈ܝܗܿ ܕܚܬܝܪܐ ܒܟ. ܘܢܡܛܝܢܝ ܐܦ ܠܝ ܗܘܦܐ ܕܪ̈ܚܡܐ ܘܐܬܚܣܐ ܒܟ.” 1
