“ܡܶܢ ܩܘܪ̈ܝܘܐ ܕܐܳܡܝܕ ܠܡܰܕܢܰܚ ܓܰܪܒܰܝ ܕܝܠܳܗ̇ܳ ܡܰܪܕܶܐ ܬܰܪܬܝܢ ܫܳܥܝ̈ܢ ܘܰܟܒܰܪ ܗܝ ܡܬܶܩܰܪܝܳܐ ܝܰܘܡܢ ܣܘܡܰܐܩܠܝ.” 1
“من قرى ديار بكر ولعلها المسماة سوماقلي في شرقها الشمالي مسافة ساعتين عنها.” 2
“a village two hours journey northeast of Diyarbakr. It may be the village called Summaqli.” 3
Notes
In Dolabani's translation of Barsoum's description “ܕܝܠܳܗ̇ܳ” and “ܡܬܶܩܰܪܝܳܐ” should read
“ܕܝܠܳܗ̇” and “ܡܶܬܩܰܪܝܳܐ” respectively.
