“في جبل الرها جنوبي المدينة ودير النواويس، ذكره الراهب الزوقنيني المؤرخ في حدود سنة 751 ومنه نشأ بطريرك ونفر من الاساقفة وكان عامرا في المئة الثالثة عشر.” 2
