“ܒܰܫܦܘܽܠܐ ܕܛܘܪܐ ܕܐܽܘܪܗܳܝ ܠܬܰܝܡܢ ܥܕܬܐ ܕܡܳܪܝ ܩܘܙܡܐ ܐܶܬܒܢܺܝ ܒܫܘܪܳܝܐ ܕܕܳܪܐ ܚܡܺܝܫܝܐ. ܘܐܰܚܪܒܗ ܒܪܳܐ ܕܒܰܟܬܰܪܝ ܫܢܰܬ 751 ܘܬܶܢܝܳܢܘܬ ܐܶܬܗܦܟ ܒܶܢܝܳܢܗ ܘܢܰܦܩ ܬܠܳܬܐ ܐܶܦܝܣܩܘ̈ܦܐ ܥܕܰܡܐ ܠܰܫܢܬ 873” 1
“في لحف جبل الرها في جنوب بيعة مار قزما، انشئ اوائل القرن الخامس ودمره ابن البختري عام 751 واعيد بناؤه فخرج ثلاثة اساقفة حتى سنة 873.” 2
“in the Mountain of Edessa, south of St. Cosmas Church. Built at the beginning of the fifth century, it was destroyed by Ibn al-Bukhtūrī in 751, but was later restored. By 873 it had produced three bishops.” 3
