“قرية مندثرة في شرقي الموصل على نهير الخوسر خربت اواسط المئة الثالثة عشرة” 2
“a village north of Mosul on the Khuser Creek, ruined in the middle of the thirteenth century.” 3

Moosa's English translation of Barsoum's description says "north" when it should be "east."
