“مدينة كبيرة كانت شمالي غربي سعرت اطلالها ماثلة” 3
“a large city, formerly northwest of Seʿert. Its ruins can still be seen.” 4

Barsoum also refers to this place in his description for Philoxenus of Mabbug as "Ghurzān" erroneously.
