Descriptions

In hagiography: In the Syriac version of Eusebius' Life , translated and commented upon by Devos, Eusebius had already become a Bishop of Samosata when he received a visit from Jacob of Nisibis, who allowed him to build a large church. He ordained priests and Bishops during the Arian controversy and was a good friend of the Cappadocians. He was killed by a blow to the head by an Arian woman.
