Bishop of Antioch who was deprived of his see Synod of Antioch because of heretical teachings2 "Paul was a bishop of Antioch in the 260s and a controversial theologian. He taught that Jesus had been born a mere man and been infused with the divine spirit only at his baptism. Denying the innate divine nature of Jesus, he was later framed as a precursor of Arianism and Nestorianism and condemned as a heretic."7Status: draft
