In hagiography: Paul of Nisibis was
originally from Prat Maysan. He was a disciple of Mar Aba I who signed the synod of Joseph
in 554. He was an intermediary between Khusro and Justinian and Justin
II. He debated also with Henana
of Adiabene over theology of the Church of the East.
