In hagiography: Luke was commemorated as a
deacon under the Bishop
Polychronus. He was decapitated
with Parmenius, Helimenas,
and Chrysostelus, and another deacon, Mucius,
under the emperor Galerius in a place called Cordula
(Qardu?).
